Battle Report #79: Maddox vs Kallus2

Another go with the dual Charger Maddox list, this time against Alex playing Kallus2!

Deployment

One Hellmouth behind a forest and one behind a wall. Annoying things.

I don't really know what to expect from Kallus2, so I do a pretty normal deployment with Blades in the middle and Lances on each flank.

Round 1

His army moves up.

The only thing I can reach is tentacles so I kill some tentacles.

Round 2

Some of my Stormblades get set on fire. Tentacles jam. Hmm, Tentacle jam, sounds good!

I use a Charger and Firefly to unjam the Lances. Charging blades and Lances remove all the Croak Raiders and Scythean, and the Ironclad murders the Seraph. I don't even have to feat.

His army is pretty much gone already, and I have lost half a unit of Stormblades. My opponent concedes.

Cygnar wins by attrition!

Post Mortem

Well, sorry about that one. Kallus seems fun and fluffy, and it was sad I did not really get to see him do his stuff. I do have some doubts about Rube Goldberg lists like this, though, seems like so many things have to line up for Kallus to get a benefit from his feat.

Next game, I face the Iron Mother!
