Una2 "Angry Birds" is the new hotness in WARMACHINE. Una has fantasic synergy with her abilities, feat, and the Griffons. Circle Orboros sure got a major boost with this new warlock! Jonas wanted to stress test his list, and Caine2 with his True Sight and lots of magical shooting should be a counter to this list. Let's see how it goes.
This list is fairly similar to the one that played in the ClogCon European Invitationals Finals against Jarle's Haley3 list.

Una wins the roll off and elects to go first.
I doubt scenario is going to come into play here. I want Caine2 near the hill for extra defense. My jacks go to the center and the cavalry on the left flank.

Turn 1
Una moves up. Look at that confident smile!
I move up and try some leaps and such on the left flank, to not much effect. The Hunter kills a Shifting Stone. Caine2 takes Bullet Dodger and the Trenchers get Heightened Reflexes.
Turn 2
Una feats and everything flies in and tries to tie up my army. Caine2 gets two birds on him, four tie up my cavalry and jacks. I have placed some infantry slightly too close to the Bloodtrackers and between that and a Pureblood spray I lose a few models.
Ragman moves up, Caine feats and starts clearing stuff. After that, and a Trencher charge, two birds and the Pureblood are dead. The rightmost stone dies. I am way up on attrition and Jonas decides to go for the kill.
I should have played this differently, I had several models that could have body blocked to make it very hard to get anything on Caine.
Turn 3
Only one bird can get onto Caine to attack. A Mannikin runs into position to block Caine from dodging. All the birds that try to go in first to give flank get killed by Free Strikes (I have 4-5 free strikes per bird). I am effective MAT9 on the Lances and MAT10 on the GMCA, so there was a fair chance of landing the attacks.
The last bird gets Primal and goes in, but needs to boost every strike to be able to hit on 11+. It is not enough.
Una is totally exposed to Caine and camping nothing. We skip rolling it out.

Post Mortem
It's hard for Una to do her trick of jamming up my army, when Caine just ignores it all. I am sure this could be played differently, but my initial feeling is that this is good for Caine, as long as I can keep him out of melee threat from the birds.
After some discussion we find some alternate plays for Caine:

- He could place Trenchers to make the bird jamming harder.
- Caine could in other situations use Gate Crasher to untie himself, allowing the rest of the army to shoot at those birds that were jamming him.
- Caine could prioritize freeing up other models, allowing the rest of the army to shoot.
We played another game with Caine2 vs Krueger1!

SvarSlettI think a lot of Una2 is very likely. Those list are *strong*. Stealthy warbeasts that cannot be attacked in melee for a turn, with Flank, at 8 points a piece - it's crazy good.
